Cristine Gade: Founder, Serene Studio
I work with premium brands to refine their spaces and build their presence in the Nordic market.
Serene Studio is built on more than 15 years of experience working with international brands across design, interiors, fragrance and lifestyle. From distribution and market development to partnerships, strategic sales and brand and scent experience.
Today, I bring this experience together into a focused offering, working with what I do best: refining spaces and building strong, relevant market presence.
What I do
I work within two areas:
Signature Space
I refine spaces that are already designed but not fully realised and identifying what can be improved and translating it into clear, practical adjustments across layout, atmosphere, details and sensory experience.
Market Development
I support selected brands in entering and growing in the Nordic market particularly within the contract and project segment by positioning them correctly and connecting them with the right partners and opportunities.
Across both areas, I work with a strong focus on the sensory layer of a space, including scent, as a key part of the overall experience.
How I work
My background combines commercial experience with a trained eye for detail, atmosphere and customer experience.
I bring an external perspective that helps identify untapped potential and turn it into clear direction and concrete action. I work closely and hands-on with a limited number of clients, ensuring focus, quality and long-term value.
I collaborate with design and workplace companies within the contract and project market refining client deliveries through detail, atmosphere and sensory elements such as scent.
Experience & Selected works
Throughout my career, I have worked hands-on with building brands, developing markets and creating customer experiences across the Nordic region.
My work includes:
- Developing and growing international brands in the Nordic market
- Building partnerships and opening new commercial opportunities
- Refining customer experiences in retail, hospitality and design environments
- Creating and delivering signature scent and sensory concepts
- Contributing to exhibitions, talks and workshops within design and experience
I have also contributed to a Danida exhibition, delivering sensory experience design to the project nominated for the Danish Design Award.
